Halloween Safety Tips

Fall is such an exciting season. Football is back, school is in full swing with all kinds of fun school activities. Halloween and Thanksgiving come in right around the corner which leads to a great time with friends and family. But, one holiday that gets the whole family out and about walking in the streets at night is Halloween. It is important to stay safe!

The American Safety Council has developed a fun acronym to remember safety tips for Halloween time. SCARE SAFE

Stay in groups

Costumes should be well fitting and flame resistant

Always test makeup

Remember to look both ways when crossing streets

Examine all treats before eating

Stay on sidewalks when possible

Avoid dark houses

Flashlights + glowsticks for visibility

Enjoy with caution!
