Local Feature: Kinnor Coffee

Tucked away off of HWY 35 is a sweet coffee shop, Kinnor Coffee. Although their coffee has been around for awhile, they decided to take the step and make it an official coffee shop and open April 16th, 2022.

While the word Kinnor is not a common one, it is a Biblical reference. A Kinnor is a Hebrew word for stringed instrument-much like the one the skilled muscian King David played with which he was able to soothe the heart of King Saul. “We liked this name for a few reasons. One, we went to be excellent in our craft and be skilled in what we do. Two, we want our place to be a soothing environment for our customers. A place of refuge and comfort.” If you haven’t been to Kinnor Coffee, it definitely is a soothing place out in the Hill Country.

Thinking about stopping by? Their most requested menu item is their maple latte. It started our as a seasonal favorite, but quickly became a must have item on their menu. It’s easy to see why. All their coffee syrups are made from scratch. So, you have handmade syrup, maple, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, cadramon, orange juice, and orange peel. How could you not want to try it?

Being a small business, they also support other small businesses all over the world. They are currently using roasters from Seattle, London, and a local TX roaster.

Kinnor Coffee is open 7am-7pm and would love to have you stop by. Just a slight detour from HWY 35 where you can enjoy a soothing environment and have a delicious cup of coffee too!
