Spring in February?

A holiday party in January..... Why not?!?! That's why we headed to Axe throwing for a team gathering full of good belly laughs and yummy comfort food. Thankfully we all left without any wounds and some great target practice. 

I was also greeted by a visit from my parents this month. They journeyed down from Santa Fe, NM to enjoy a little bit of warmer weather and some family bonding. We took it upon ourselves to find the best winery in the Texas Hill Country and were pleasantly surprised by The William Chris winery. With great food, lovely wines, good live music, and gorgeous views its a fun way to support local businesses.  

With the wether looking up we took a quick  weekend trip to the beach where we celebrated Niaya's 20th birthday and had some fun in the sun. Its a very good way to start the New Year!
